Este ensaio analisa a produção acadêmica dos intelectuais brasileiros e brasilianistas que, nestas últimas décadas, desenvolveram estudos sobre as manifestações do antissemitismo no Brasil. Tal produção teve início na década de 1970, ainda que de forma esporádica, ganhando impulso após 1995 com a abertura de vários arquivos: diplomáticos e policiais. Mesmo assim, persistem as polêmicas sobre a prática de uma política antissemita sustentada pelos governos de Getúlio Vargas (1930-1945) e General Eurico Gaspar Dutra (1946-1950), alimentadas pela persistência de mitos, pelo negacionismo e pelas versões deturpadas da História Oficial. AbstractThis essay examines the production of Brazilian intellectual and academic Brazilianists that, in recent decades, involving studies on the manifestations of antisemitism in Brazil. This production began in the 1970s, albeit sporadically, gaining momentum after 1995 with the opening of multiple files, diplomatic and police. Even so, there is still controversy about the practice of a sustained anti-Semitic policy by the governments of Getulio Vargas (1930-1945) and General Eurico Gaspar Dutra (1946-1950), fueled by the persistence of myths, the denial and distorted versions of the Official History.
