ResumoThe expansivities of liquid n-hexane were derived from measurements of the entropy of compression at pressures up to 500 MPa in the 243 K to 473 K temperature range. These values were used to compute the thermophysical properties of the liquid. Results of the computation are compared with literature values when available. It is in particular shown that along isothermal paths the isobaric specific heat capacity cp decreases and then increases with pressure.
