ResumoA rapid one-step purification procedure was developed to isolate mouse monoclonal antibodies present in the growth medium of hybridoma cultures. The procedure, based on a sulfopropyl mass ion exchange chromatography, yields considerable amounts of purified monoclonal antibody. The immunoglobulins are essentially free of transferrin and albumin, as determined by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
