ResumoIn 1606 the manor of Enghien was bought by Charles , Prince of Arenberg , from Henry IV of France. Charles and his wife Anne of Croy were both skilled archers. In 1619 Anne even won a tournament and in the Museum of Enghien there is a portrait showing her with a collar of an archers' guild (i not however of the St. Sebastian's Guild) over her left arm. In 1624 she presented five collars to archers' guilds in the neighbourhood of Enghien Castle. This perhaps accounts for the unique fact that from one guild there are three identical collars in existence.
