Resumo

In looking at results after trauma, treatment alone may not explain outcome. Individual, contextual and population-related factors also have their parts to play. Outcomes may vary according to gender, education, compensation payments and lawyer involvement. 3 Buckley R. Tough S. McCormack R. et al. Understanding how the context of injury and treatment may affect outcome is a complicated business and designing outcome measures requires painstaking research. By employing qualitative methods, it is possible to address some these issues.
