ResumoWe introduce here a numerical model which permits to compute the longshore currents for any shape of shoreline and any bathymetry. The integration over the depth and the average over a wave period of the momentum and continuity equations leads to a system of equations identic to those of SaintVenant in which supplementary stresses due to waves appear. The model first includes the wave refraction computation which permits to estimate the driving forces and then the computation of longshore currents themselves. This model has been calibrated in the case of a rectilinear shoreline for which the influence of the various parameters has been studied. At last, the model has been applied to a semi-circurlar bay.
