Resumo

The magnetic field $B$, angular frequency $\ensuremath{\omega}$, and temperature dependences of the complex vortex dielectric constant ${\ensuremath{\epsilon}}_{v}$ of a thin-film superconductor are deduced from measurements of the ac impedance. A temperature close to the predicted dislocation-mediated vortex-lattice melting temperature is found which delineates low-temperature behavior, ${\ensuremath{\epsilon}}_{v}\ensuremath{\propto}B$, from high-temperature behavior, ${\ensuremath{\epsilon}}_{v}\ensuremath{\propto}\frac{B}{\ensuremath{\omega}}$, A simple two-dimensional Coulomb gas analog successfully explains the fluid phase at high temperature.
