We consider the calculation of potential steady flow of a perfect gas in the subsonic and transonic parts of a plane symmetric Laval nozzle with a given shape. We shall assume that the subsonic part of the nozzle extends to infinity, where the nozzle walls are either parallel or diverge at a certain angle.
