ResumoAbstracto1.The occurrence of reversible sickling of the red cell in two species of genets, Genetta genetta genetta and G. g. tigrina is reported.2.Preliminary observations on conditions causing sickling in genets are described and are compared with those for other mammals showing sickling.3.The distribution of the sickling phenomenon in the family Viverridae is discussed.
