La eyaculación precoz es un trastorno sexual poco conocido por los médicos que todavía presenta dificultades diagnósticas y terapéuticas. En este artículo, además de abordar sus aspectos más relevantes, se propone un método de intervención clínica que puede ayudar a diagnosticar y tratar a la mayoría de los pacientes. Además, se indican los fármacos empleados para corregir el trastorno, las características de la dapoxetina, una nueva molécula específicamente indicada para el tratamiento de la eyaculación precoz, facilitando algunos de los recursos utilizados en terapia sexual. The premature ejaculation is a sexual disorder little known by the doctors that still presents diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties. In this article his more relevant aspects are commented and one proposes a method of clinical intervention that can help to diagnose and treat the majority of the patients. Also, the medicaments used to correct the disorder, the characteristics of the dapoxetine, a new molecule specifically indicated for the treatment of the premature ejaculation, facilitating some of the resources used in sexual therapy.
