Resumo

Dose distributions from radiotherapy electron beams of energy 3 to 10 MeV from the MEL SL75 Super Linear Accelerator have been measured in unit density materials by ionisation chamber and film dosimetry. The central axis percentage depth dose data are presented and compared for beams of various energies. The effect of field size is discussed and the method of producing and presenting isodose information is described. Contamination of the electron beam by X rays in various situations is examined and methods of routinely checking the output, energy and flatness of the electron beam are described.
