ResumoThe cerebral metabolism was estimated in 10 patients in an acutely intoxicated condition, and after recovery from the alcoholic bout. The cerebral uptake of oxygen was diminished in 6 cases, and within normal limits in the remaining 4. After recovery the uptake of oxygen was within normal limits in all cases.
