ResumoOakland Schools Technical Campus (OSTC) in suburban Detroit offers nine career clusters for high school students to get their start into career experience while even preparing for college. "Nobody will hire you after college unless you have experience so I’m going to get my experience first and then go to college," says high school senior Adam Ross, who is participating in the school’s Engineering & Emerging Technologies (EET) program, where he spends half his day, with the other half spent at his own high school. What’s more, Ross sees his time at OSTC as a natural way to apply what he learned from honors and AP math and science classes.
