ResumoA simple biomolecule-assisted hydrothermal approach was developed to synthesize antimony sulfide nanowires. The strategy presented here is the application of l-cysteine, acting not as complexing agent but also as sulfur source. The experimental results indicate that the reaction temperature is of importance for obtaining pure antimony sulfide.
