ResumoAdenocarcinoma developed in a segment of terminal ileum with coexisting regional enteritis in a patient. When increasing obstructive symptoms develop in the course of a patient with enteritis, is the possibility of associated tumor should be entertained and surgical intervention must be considered. Where small bowel disease with regional enteritis is resected, multiple histologic sections should be examined carefully to avoid overlooking coexisting small bowel carcinoma.
