Resumo

Abstract Manganese fluorinated porphyrins catalyzed the ring hydroxylation of phenylalanine derivatives and toluene with H2O2 and an enhanced hydroxylation was observed especially in phospholipid bilayers when imidazole was present. The hydroxylation depended upon the structures of porphyrins and substrates.
