Resumo

We examine whether transport in two-dimensional impurity bands is affected by electron-electron interactions. A physical discussion of interaction effects is presented, particularly of the effects of carriers on the disorder energy, and of the effects of static and dynamic screening of localized carriers on transport. It is then argued that a number of features reported by Fowler and Hartstein are consistent with the predicted effects of interactions.
