ResumoHepatitis B vaccine is known to induce accidents and side-effects. We report a case of unilateral fluctuant sensorineural hearing loss with tinnitus after a series of hepatitis B vaccinations. Tinnitus regressed and hearing thresholds were normalized 6 months later. The authors discuss the potential causality of hepatitis B vaccine in the occurrence of fluctuant sensorineural hearing loss and propose a physiopathological hypothesis to explain this unusual case.
