Resumo

Abstract In-situ measurements of surface plasmon dispersion on smooth and strongly electrochemically roughened silver-aluminium electrodes are reported. Oscillations in the dispersion curves in the red and blue regions of the visible spectrum are found. A model of surface-localized electromagnetic resonances on metallic protrusions of a flat surface is applied successfully.
