Resumo

I consider a collapsing sphere of perfect fluid which conducts heat and radiates energy to infinity. The radiation process provides an arrow of time which is compared with the gravitational arrow associated with the Weyl and Ricci tensors. The two arrows point in opposite senses. This suggests that the present definition of the gravitational arrow is unsatisfactory.
