Resumo

We consider the neutrino flux from a galactic supernova and the induced signal in Borex. A total of ∼ 300 events is predicted. The detection of vμ's and vτ's through neutral current excitation of the 11B nuclei is discussed. We find that examination of the time structure of these events allows measurement of the vμ and vτ masses in the range 200 eV ⪷mv⪷30 keV, provided they are stable. For unstable v's, a vep signal enables measurements of masses in the range 200 keV ⪷mv⪷1 MeV, provided they decay into ve + φ.
