ResumoAbstract In fluorosulfuric acid, the electrochemical oxidation of alkanes takes place more easily in more basic solutions. The reactive species at the electrode are not the protonated paraffins. A chemical oxidation followed by a charge transfer seems possible. Key Words: anodic oxidationalkanesfluorosulfuric acid
