ResumoDentists are increasingly treating patients who have significant medically compromising conditions, a number of which predispose individuals to tuberculosis. Three case reports describe patients with histories of tuberculosis exposure. The authors also discuss risk assessment and offer practical guidelines for dental management of these patients.
