ResumoA detailed dietary survey of 46 women and their husbands belonging to an upper economic stratum was obtained. The caloric and percentage fat intakes of the sexes were almost identical. The data concerning the possible relationship of hormonal, dietary, and socioeconomic factors to the pathogenesis of coronary artery disease are reviewed.
