ResumoThe distributions of fecal indicator bacteria in Lake Kinneret have been monitored closely over depth and time for a 1 year period. It was apparent that factors including the Jordan River inflow rate, and sedimentation, were partly responsible for these distributions. Statistical analysis was used to determine the extent of impact of these factors. An examination was also made of the partitioning of fecal indicator bacteria between surface waters, bottom waters, and sediments in the lake.
