Abstract Di-O-dimethoxytritylated 1,4,7-heptanetriol and a di-o-dimetho xytritylated nucleoside derivative were converted to the respective phos phoramidites (4)& (7) used for the solid-phase synthesis of polylabelled branched chain oligonucleotides.
