Synthesis and Characterization of Heterocyclic Compounds

Abstract Current knowledge regarding the chemical and physical properties of sulfur tetraflouride is reviewed. The structural features of the compound are discussed, and its toxicological properties are presented. Particular attention is given to its reaction as a flourinating agent in view of the widespread interest in this facet of its chemistry.
