ResumoThis study was conducted between February, 2002 and January, 2003 in a remnant of Araucaria Pine Forest located in the District of Bugre, Municipality of Balsa Nova, Parana, Brazil. The goal of this study was to survey the species used as food items by Sciurus ingrami Thomas, 1901 throughout a year. Ten (N = 10) species were recorded in the diet of these squirrels, belonging to seven plant families. Squirrels preyed on seeds of three plant species and fed on three exotic species, indicating good adaptability to disturbed habitats.
