Study of Mite Species

Further data are given on the eriophyoid fauna of Hungary. Few references were left out from the recent checklist. Based on the literature records, a total of 34 gall mite species are mentioned from 36 host species of 15 plant families. Eleven species were not mentioned in the last checklist (of 336 species). Cecidophyopsis hendersoni (Keifer, 1954) is recorded for the 1st time in Hungary collected from the leaves of pot Yucca elephantipes .
