Resumo

Abstract Insoluble analogs of homogeneous rhodium hydroformylation catalysts are obtained by ionic attachment of a functionalized phosphine onto an ion exchange resin, and subsequent ligand exchange with a soluble rhodium complex. Both acidic and basic ion exchange resins can be used for ligand insolubilization. Supported rhodium complexes exhibit superior reactivity for hydroformylation of 1-octene, and low losses of rhodium by metal leaching.
