Observation of Charge Transfer Magnon Excitation and Spin Dependent Raman Scattering in CsCoCl 3

Resumo

The temperature dependent Raman scatterings and absorption spectra are observed in CsCoCl 3 which has quasi one dimensional at high temperatures and triangular spin characteristics at low temperatures. The temperature dependence is slightly weaker than three dimensional spin correlation function. It is predicted that the hot and cold band in absorption spectra are charge transfer magnon excitations associated with an interband transition.
