ResumoIn this section dedicated to translations with commentaries, the short story “O cônego ou metafísica do estilo” (the last among the 16 stories originally published in Gazeta de Notícias in 1885) was chosen as the source text for seven different translations into five different languages as well as for the associated reflection on the various translation practices.
