Resumo

Distance, control and consistency: three characteristics of the ideal golf ball. The quest for the perfect golf ball requires a long developmental process. Using our Bridgestone Tour B330 golf ball developed in 2003–2004, we explain the science and engineering processes utilized in developing a tour‐caliber golf ball. Although we are not at liberty to discuss current projects, most of the processes discussed are still being utilized in current golf ball development.
