ResumoIn the line of the statistical studies of atomic spectra, the distribution of the intensities of the bound-bound transitions in an atomic transition array is analysed. It is shown that the distribution of the line amplitudes is essentially a decreasing-exponential function. However, there always appear an excess of weak lines. This excess is related to coupling effects, when the physical coupling is close to an extremal coupling, and to scars of symmetries, in the opposite case. The occurrence of several types of scars makes the whole intensity array very complex.
