Resumo

The reaction of organometallic indium halides R 2 InBr and RInCl 2 (R = {Cp(CO) 2 Fe}, {Cp(CO) 3 Mo}) with silylated chalcogens E(SiMe 3 ) 2 (E = S, Se, Te) leads to the formation of cage compounds which contain a central In 4 E 4 cube. The structures of [{Cp(CO) 2 Fe} 4 In 4 Se 4 ] (1), [{Cp(CO) 3 Mo} 4 In 4 S 4 ] (2), [{Cp(CO) 2 Fe} 4 In 4 S 4 ] (3) and [{Cp(CO) 3 Mo} 4 In 4 Te 4 ] (4) were determined by X-ray crystallography.
