Umweltschutz zwischen Wunsch und Wirklichkeit

Auch im Umweltschutz sind Zielvorstellungen rasch formuliert, und das um so leichter, je weiter man von den Umsetzungsverpflichtungen entfernt ist. Trotzdem gibt es Rahmenbedingungen, die geradezu zwangsläufig für die Entstehung von Diskrepanzen zwischen Wunsch und Wirklichkeit im Umweltschutz verantwortlich sind. Hierzu zählen primär wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisgrenzen, Kommunikationsprobleme zwischen Experten, Öffentlichkeit und Politik und die Flut an Gesetzen und Verordnungen. Es wird auf-gezeigt, welchen Beitrag die Industrie zur Verbesserung dieser Situation leisten kann. Environmental Protection between Desire and Reality For environmental protection, too, targets are quickly defined and this is done the easier the farer away the obligations for realization are. Nevertheless restrictions exist, which are directly responsible for origin of discrepancies between desire and reality in environmental protection. To this belong primarily limits of scientific knowledge, communication problems between experts, publicity and politics and the torrent of laws and regulations. It is shown which contribution the industry can perform for an improvement of this situation.
