Abstract The IBM 370/165 system at Cambridge provides batch and interactive computing facilities under OS 360/MVT with the Time Sharing Option (TSO). The Cambridge text editor, EDIT, provides comprehensive file manlpulation facilities in a unified manner for both batch and interactive users.
