ResumoElastic backscattering measurements were performed for the weakly bound nucleus $^{6}\mathrm{Li}$ on a $^{28}\mathrm{Si}$ target at sub- and near-barrier energies (0.6 to 1.3 V${}_{C.B.}$). Excitation functions of elastic scattering cross sections were measured at ${150}^{\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}}$ and ${170}^{\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}}$ and the corresponding ratios to Rutherford scattering and relevant barrier distributions were formed. The results are discussed in terms of the potential threshold anomaly and the reaction mechanisms involved.
