Reichs-Pat. 454945 Kl. 120, zur Kenntnis, in der Kondensationen von [Diphenyl-methylen]-anthron mit Aluminiumchlorid und Kochsalz beschrieben werden. Das so erhaltene Produkt, für das eine Entscheidung zwischen den Formeln IV und VI offen gelassen wird, wird nur durch seine violette Schwefelsäure-Farbe charakterisiert.
