Rothschild, Kurt ; Pecker, Jean-Claude ; Roberts, Walter Orr Abstract The motions of 49 knots in the large prominence of July 25, 1951, have been measured. For 17 of them, a definite variation of acceleration vectors has been found. The dynamics of the motion still remains obscure. It seems difficult to represent them by a coherent field of forces.
