In the present investigation, an attempt has been made to enlist the zooplankton diversity in Ghagardara pond, Taluka Kandhar Dist. Nanded. Seasonal changes in composition of zooplankton were analyzed from September 2005 to August 2006. The major groups of zooplankton found during the study period were Rotifera, Cladocera, Copepoda and Ostracoda. The Copepods were abundant in Ghagardara pond. The water quality parameters have an influence on the diversity and distribution of zooplankton population in Ghagardara pond.
