ResumoAmong rock paintings located in the regions of Lagoa Santa, Serra do Cipo and Montalvania (Minas Gérais) and in the south-east of Piaui, numerous geometrical motifs appear, which can be interpreted as very schematic human figures. It is possible to establish the anthropomorphic character of these motifs thanks to their association with other human ones, less stylized, appearing in the same representation. A systematic study of these motifs, frequently encountered in the rock art of Brazil, would be necessary to discover their signification.
