ResumoWe report up-conversion processes in Cr : Tm : Ho : YAG under the near infrared and the red excitations. Excitation spectra and decay-time measurements showed the energy transfer from Ho3+ to Cr3+, from Tm3+ to Cr3+, and from Tm3+ to Ho3+ ions. Selective excitations resolved the stepwise up-conversion of the Tm3+ 1G4 in the blue.
