ResumoAbstract A re-evaluation of several species of Indo-Australian and Afrotropical Braconinae has been made based on a study of the type-specimens. This has resulted in several transfers of species as follows: 7 to Zaglyptogastra Ashmead, 5 to Bathyaulax Szépligeti, 2 to Plaxopsis Szépligeti, 1 to Pseudovipio Szépligeti, 1 to Pachybracon Cameron, 4 to Hybogaster Szépligeti, 1 to Cratocnema Szépligeti, 2 to Rhamnura Enderlein, 7 to Glyptomorpha Holmgren, 3 to Rhadinobracon Szepligeti, 2 to Merinotus Szépligeti, 2 to Meganura Szépligeti, 1 to Shelfordia Cameron, 3 to Rostraulax Quicke, 2 to Gammabracon Quicke, and 3 retransferred to Iphiaulax Foerster. In addition, Udamolcia Enderlein is synonymized with Pachybracon Cameron and the systematic positions of 3 species of Bathyaulax and 1 of Archibracon Saussure are confirmed. Notes are provided to aid the identification of some of the genera involved.
