Les Brachiopodes porteurs d'épizoaires sont particulièrement abondants dans 4 niveaux du Frasnien de Ferques, 2 dans la Formation de Beaulieu et 2 dans celle de Ferques. Les épizoaires du premier niveau sont presque exclusivement des Brachiopodes Inarticulés Craniidés fixés sur des Spirifères; ceux des autres niveaux sont plus diversifiés: Tabulés Auloporides, Vers, Bryozoaires… et sont fixés sur des Spiriferida, des orthida et des Strophomenida. La localisation, la fréquence et la diversité des épizoaires sont précisées pour 31 secteurs définis sur les Brachiopodes-hôtes et illustrés pour les plus caractéristiques. Pour certains épizoaires, la coquille du Brachiopode joue uniquement un rôle de support, pour d'autres le rapport épizoaire-Brachiopode évoque un certain commensalisme. In the Frasnian of Ferques inlier, brachiopods with epizoans are particularly numerous in four levels, both in the Beaulieu Formation and both in the Ferques Formation. The first level is characterized by one spiriferid Brachiopod (Eodmitria supradisjuncta boloniensis) with numerous incrusted Inarticulate Brachiopod Petrocrania and scare Worms (Spirorbis). The epizoans of the other levels are more diversified: Auloporid Tabulates (Plexituba, Aulocystis? and Thecostegites bouchardi), Worms (Spirorbis), Bryozoans (Hederella, incrusting Trepostoma) and also Comulites, Petrocrania. The host-brachiopods are: Cyrtospirifer syringothyriformis, C. vemeuili, C. ? archiaci, Athyris concentrica murchisoni, A. bayeti, A. oehlerti, Schizophoria striatula, Atrypacea, Douvillina dutertrei, Nervostrophia latissima, Eoschuchertella ferquensis. 31 grid areas are defined on the brachiopod shells (15 on each valve and 1 on the ventral interarea). On each grid area, settlement, location, diversity and frequency are precised for each epizoan and illustrated for the more significant. Some epizoans (Spirorbis) seem to have only used the brachiopod shell as a suitable substrate. But for others (Plexituba, Cornulites), the relations with the host-Brachipod moreover suggests commensalism.
