Google Scholar 2 Problem 6 has obviously a positive answer if the Banach space E possesses the bounded approximation property. Google Scholar 3 Problem 7 was solved by B. Carl, Entropy numbers, s-numbers, and eigenvalue problems, submitted to J. Functional Analysis. Google Scholar B. Carl H. Triebel, Inequalities between eigenvalues, entropy numbers, and related properties of compact operators in Banach spaces, submitted to Math. Ann. In fact B.
