Resumo

The positions of the principal nuclei of the medulla oblongata of the sheep are described. The appearance of a protuberance on the ventro-lateral surface of the medulla corresponding with the under lying facial nucleus is noted, and commented upon. The position of the issuing fibres of the twelfth cranial nerve is contrasted with the position of these fibres in the medulla of man.
