ResumoLapidus arthrodesis is indicated for painful, advanced hallux valgus and symptomatic first ray hypermobility with or without arthrosis of the joint. Nonunion of the first metatarsocuneiform joint fusion is the most frequent complication of attempted lapidus arthrodesis. We present a case of painful first metatarsocuneiform nonunion that was successfully treated using arthroscopic revision lapidus arthrodesis to describe this unusual approach to a known postoperative complication.
