ResumoIn the novel Bolor (Mold), by Augusto Abelaira, are mentioned novels, songs and paintings titles. This work will examine one of the novels cited, O Eterno Marido (The Eternal Husband) by Dostoiévski, to verify if the intertextual relationship is confined only to the title of the work or whether there are other relationships between them, such as hypertextuality. We will study the theories of Laurent Jenny (1979), about intertextuality, with contributions by Julia Kristeva (1974) and the theory of Gerard Genette (2006) about hypertextuality. The purpose is to verifiy if one theory excludes the other or if they complement each other.
