ResumoThe evolution of radar technique is traced and the radar-development program of the United States Army Signal Corps at the Signal Corps Laboratories, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, described from its inception to America's entry in the War. Two radars developed by the Signal Corps Laboratories during this period, SCR-268 and SCR-270, are described in detail.
